Pregnancy Loss Ribbons

Pregnancy and Infant Loss is not just something that happens to 'somebody else'. It happens to your sister, your friend, your coworker, the girl who checks out your groceries. It affects many families every day. By spreading awareness of Pregnancy and Infant Loss we are able to let family and friends know how to support a family that has experienced a loss. Whether you are looking for yourself, a family member or someone else you know I'd like to express my sympathy for the loss of a baby and I'm glad you found us. We are spreading awareness one ribbon at a time!

A family that has lost a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or perinatal loss often has few if any mementos to remember their child. We are proud to be moms and dads and want the opportunity to talk about our children and how their short lives have changed us. By wearing a ribbon we hope to increase the opportunities to share our babies with others.

Everyone knows the yellow ribbon stands for 'Support our Troops'. Pink is for breast cancer, red for AIDS. It is my goal that this pink and blue ribbon is as instantly recognizable a symbol.

On May 8, 2002 I recieved the news no mother wants to hear. "I am sorry, but this baby does not have a heartbeat". I spent the next 3 days in the hospital waiting to deliver my stillborn son, Gabriel. He was 21 weeks gestation and apparently died due to 'cord accident". I dedicate this site to him. I also thank my husband for designing the ribbon logos for me. And I thank my 2 living kids Abby and Zac for their patience and understanding as I have spent many hours online searching for information, mementos, and support. Wishing you gentle days, Emily

'Rubber Band Bracelets'!

A common complaint I hear from grieving moms is the difficulty in going about their daily lives and seeing pregnant woman or families with babies. What is hard to remember is that often we are also seeing moms who have had babies die. What if there was a symbol so that we could recognize each other and not feel so alone? The feedback I have had is that dads are wearing these as well. They are very similar to the yellow 'lance armstrong' bracelets, but with different wording.

ORIGINAL bracelets are White, and debossed with the words "Remembering Our Babies". They also have a small baby feet symbol. These are an adult size. They are 8.5 inches measured around the bracelet. Prices include US or Canadian shipping
